Microsoft outlook 2016 web app free download. Choose the right version of Outlook

I have a team member who has recently been changed from Small Premium Business to Business Premium, since the change of subscription, whenever he uses any of the Microsoft desktop software such as word, powerpoint, excel, the attached messages would pop up, sometimes preventing access to files.

Please assist. Secondly, he has tried to install Outlook on a second desktop, and access was denied, see also attached. Was this reply helpful?

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Thanks for your advice, for the first issue with the upload centre problem, I have performed all the steps under Delete your Office Document Cache, but it still gives me these messages in the attached when I open word and powerpoint Regarding downloading the Outlook , I have now managed to install this on my team’s desktop.

Thank you very much for that. One additional question is that whenever I receive files with insert images say the one from you, when I view them on outlook desktop I could never see the images, they show up as box with a cross, see screen grab.

What could I do about this? I have tried to manually uninstall the office , but it won’t let me, perhaps I didn’t follow the steps properly. However, what I did was to completely uninstall it again with easy fix tool, see attached screen grab. Then installing seemed fine again.

However, when I open powerpoint or word file, and sometimes excel files, the upload centre error message came up again. Please refer to second screen grab. In addition, when opening a word file, I sometimes also get “Word could not create the work file.

Check the temp environment variable. Background information, we used to have no problems till recently, when we got switched from Office Small Business Premium to Office Business Prenium, we use Window 7 professional and Window 7 Ultimate, and internet explorer 11 just in case this maybe useful information for you.

The entire office only uses Window 7 Professional or Window 7 Ultimate, other team members outlook and office softwares are all in good working order, except for mine Window 7 Professional and one other staff’s Window 7 Ultimate , so I don’t think the problem is which version of Window we use. I followed the step to fix it but nothing has changed, it seems to be gotten worse, I cannot open any powerpoint files or most word files now since I executed the Step 3 and 4.

It says ‘ Word could not create the work file. For Excel file, it opens fine, without any of these messages, but it does take unusually long time to do this.

This is a second reply to your post just now, I am trying to offer you more info to see if it helps you solving my problem.

After I have uninstalled and installed, I looked up the C drive again, this is what I have got, see below. As I don’t know what the difference is between Program Files and Program Files x86 , I have screen grabbed both for you to check.

Close the Office applications on your computer and then kill your Office processes in the Task Manage. If you couldn’t open Office properly, to help narrow down the issue, you may confirm the following information. Try opening Word or PowerPoint in safe mode to see the outcome.

Right-click the Start button lower-left corner in Windows, and click Run. Try using another local admin account to sign into your Windows system to start Word or PowerPoint to check the outcome. Moreover, the ‘Program Files’ folder serves as the default installation target for bit programs, while the ‘Program Files x86 ‘ folder is the default installation target for bit programs that need WoW64 emulation layer.

Does it mean it has not been updated? It was definitely updated an hour ago though. Word still shows upload centre, access denied etc Powerpoint files: – If I open from window explorer, then access denied message comes up still. If I open in safe mode as per your steps, then the same file would open ok, but sometimes access denied message still come up even though it opens.

Word files: If I open from window explorer, it either gives me access denied message , or sometimes upload centre problem , or sometimes word could not create the work file If I open in safe mode, it also gives me the access denied message.

The thing I have to highlight is that sometimes the file still opens but these warning messages all turn up at the same time, but sometimes it just would not open, and just give me a message saying access denied.

Sometimes there are no error message if the file is opened via the application. The whole thing seems very unstable, and the behavior is very inconsistent.

About the error ” Word cannot open the existing file. Close Word. Launch Word, Word will discover that there is no Normal. Note: We need to show hidden items first. For the error “Access Denied. I’d like to confirm 1. Whether you tried to open documents stored in the UNC location or not? If yes, the issue occurs because Word tries to delete the temporary copy of the original documents on the UNC share.

When a user saves a Word document to a UNC share location, Word creates a temporary copy of the document. In the final step of the saving process, Word deletes the original document and replaces it with a temporary copy.

If Delete permissions are not granted to the user, Word cannot complete the saving process, and the user receives the error message “Access Denied. Contact your administrator”.
