You may need to reach out to a friend or family member to borrow one. We may also want to try a Skype echo test by opening up the Skype app on your Xbox One and calling ‘Skype Test Call’ from your contact list. If you’re still not able to hear yourself, this would indicate a hardware issue with your headset or controller. Once you’re able to try these steps, keep us in the loop! Everywhere I have read people said you just need your headset connected to the pc and have the headset and mic set to default in the playback devices on windows When in the start a party beta I right click on my user profile pic and it says mute.

I press mute then right click again, it says unmute. I press unmute and nothing happens. It just keeps saying unmute.
